What is Reiki?
REIKI is the Life Force Energy that flows through all living things. This healing modality treats the whole person--mind, body and spirit--and creates many beneficial effects including relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and well being. The practitioner uses a gentle touch technique that works by raising the vibratory level of the energy. Reiki clears, straightens, and heals the chakra pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow.
What Is A Session Like?
For 90-minute office sessions, we will begin with a brief check-in. I will ask you about your concerns, what events are taking place in your life at the time, and any physical ailments you might have. You will then get onto the massage table wearing comfortable clothing and begin to receive the Reiki by gentle hands-on touch. Some people often go into deep relaxation, while others might experience a trance-like state that opens them to insights into their lives. It is a very personal experience and different for each person. After an hour of Reiki we will again have a brief conversation about how your session went.
Reiki and Sound Healing
I bring into my healing sessions the option of having a sound healing with Reiki using tuning forks, energy bar chimes, Tibetan singing bowls, my singing, toning or crystal singing bowls. I work with the chakra system to clear blockages. The sound vibrations help to clear stuck energies and bring in healing to the physical body, mind and heart. Sound Healing allows flow of energy into the whole system for harmony and balance.
How Much Is A Reiki Session?
A 90-minute session is sliding scale to accommodate all income levels. $160 - $260
Crystal Healing
For those interested, I also like to incorporate crystals into my Reiki sessions. Crystals work by vibrating at different levels depending on their color and properties. These vibrations work well with the Reiki energy to balance one's chakra system. The Reiki and crystals support each other in my sessions. I find it exciting to work with them and they enhance my energy work.
